Target Corporation recently announced a new freshwater stewardship approach to all its stores and operations worldwide, in partnership with the World Wildlife Fund (WWF). This new initiative addresses how they can improve water quality, optimize water efficiency, and increase access to clean water.
Focusing on reducing and conserving water in four main areas of their business — raw materials, manufacturing, direct operations, and “beyond the fence line” — Target’s goals are ambitions, but very attainable.
Conserva Irrigation is proud to be a part of Target’s sustainable water initiative, having recently entered a partnership to optimize the outdoor irrigation systems at their stores. Our efforts have already saved over 36 million gallons of water, and by the end of 2018 Conserva Irrigation systems will be in place at over 300 Target stores.
Working together with Target Corporation to conserve water while maintaining beautiful aesthetics of their retail locations reflects the very spirit of Conserva Irrigation’s commitment to environmental responsibility and smart irrigation. We look forward to helping them save millions, if not billions, of gallons of water in the near future.

Conserva Irrigation is proud to partner with such an influential worldwide corporation in their water conservation efforts, as our passion for partnership with like-minded organizations is a key part of who we are as a company. In addition to Target, we also have alliances with Toro Irrigation, the Wyland Foundation, and local landscaping companies. Together we can preserve our planet’s most valuable resource — water.
